År 1935 öppnades en konsthall för Axel Ebbes skulpturer, ritad av dåvarande stadsarkitekten i Malmö Carl-Axel Stoltz. Konsthallen bekostades av Trelleborg Stads Sparbank och drivs av Trelleborgs kommun.
