Christine Madeleine Odette Lagarde, född 1 januari 1956 i Paris som Christine Lallouette, är en fransk politiker som representerar det konservativa partiet Union pour un Mouvement Populaire.
Lagarde var Frankrikes handelsminister 2005–2007 och jordbruks- och fiskeminister 2007. Åren 2007-2011 var hon Frankrikes första kvinnliga finansminister. Den 5 juli efterträdde hon avsatte Dominique Strauss-Kahn som direktör för Internationella Valutafonden. Till yrket är hon advokat.

Om krisen i Grekland [redigera]
I maj 2012 blev hon intervjuad av The Guardian och fick frågan hur hon ser på den grekiska skuldkrisen och att självmorden har gått upp med fyrtio procent och att stora delar av folket i Aten måste gå till soppkök, varpå hon svarade:
"Do you know what? As far as Athens is concerned, I also think about all those people who are trying to escape tax all the time. All these people in Greece who are trying to escape tax."
Even more than she thinks about all those now struggling to survive without jobs or public services?
"I think of them equally. And I think they should also help themselves collectively."
How?
"By all paying their tax. Yeah."
