Cymothoa paradoxa[1][2][3] är en kräftdjursart som beskrevs av Haller 1880. Cymothoa paradoxa ingår i släktet Cymothoa och familjen Cymothoidae.[4][5]
Artens utbredningsområde är Indiska oceanen.[4] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[4]
