Caption: "First introduced by the former Soviet Union in 1966, this vehicle is in service with many countries, including Iraq. It is operated by a crew of four and is normally armed with a 14.5mm machine gun. Between the front and rear wheels are retractable belly wheels which improve cross country performance. This vehicle was captured on 27 February 1991 by the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 197th Infantry Brigade in the Euphrates River Valley. This action capped the 24th Infantry Division's to seal enemy forces in the Kuwaiti Theater."
