Fjällbröstad bulbyl (Pycnonotus squamatus) är en fågel i familjen bulbyler inom ordningen tättingar.[2] IUCN kategoriserar arten som nära hotad.[1]
Fjällbröstad bulbyl delas in i tre underarter:[2]
- P. s. squamatus - förekommer på västra och centrala Java
- P. s. weberi - förekommer i södra Burma, på Malackahalvön, i Malaysia och på Sumatra
- P. s. borneensis - förekommer på Borneo
