Ghost in the Machine är det fjärde studioalbumet av det brittiska rockbandet The Police, utgivet 2 oktober 1981. Albumet skiljer sig från föregångarna bland annat genom att keyboards och även saxofoner används i större omfattning.
Låten Invisible Sun, som handlar om oroligheterna i Nordirland, blev en hit i Storbritannien där den släpptes som singel redan innan albumet. Även Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic blev en stor hit med en förstaplats på singellistan i Storbritannien och en tredjeplats i USA.
