Leptolebias splendens[2] är en fiskart som först beskrevs av Myers 1942. Leptolebias splendens ingår i släktet Leptolebias och familjen Rivulidae.[4][5] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som sårbar.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[4]
