Phidippus audax[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] är en spindelart som först beskrevs av Nicholas Marcellus Hentz 1845. Phidippus audax ingår i släktet Phidippus och familjen hoppspindlar.[19][20] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[19]
