Rosthättad skogstrast (Catharus frantzii) är en fågel i familjen trastar inom ordningen tättingar.[2] IUCN kategoriserar arten som livskraftig.[1]
Rosthättad skogstrast delas in i sju underarter:[2]
- Catharus frantzii frantzii - förekommer i bergen i västra Jalisco till centrala Michoacán, centrala Mexiko och Morelos
- Catharus frantzii confusus - förekommer i bergen i sydöstra San Luis Potosí till nordöstra Hidalgo, nordöstra Puebla och norra Oaxaca
- Catharus frantzii nelsoni - förekommer i bergen i södra Mexico (sydvästra Guerrero till sydöstra Oaxaca)
- Catharus frantzii chiapensis - förekommer i bergen i södra Mexico (centrala Chiapas)
- Catharus frantzii juancitonis - förekommer i bergen i södra Mexico (södra Chiapas) till Guatemala och Honduras
- Catharus frantzii waldroni - förekommer i bergen i norra Nicaragua
- Catharus frantzii wetmorei - förekommer i bergen i Costa Rica och västra Panama (Chiriquí)
