Soteremit (Phaethornis augusti) är en fågel i familjen kolibrier inom ordningen seglarfåglar.[2] IUCN kategoriserar arten som livskraftig.[1]
Soteremit delas in i tre underarter:[2]
- Phaethornis augusti curiosus - förekommer i Santa Marta bergen (nordöstra Colombia)
- Phaethornis augusti augusti - förekommer i Colombia (östra Anderna och Macarenebergen) till bergen i norra Venezuela
- Phaethornis augusti incanescens - förekommer på tepuis i sydöstra Venezuela och angränsande Guyana
