Spateltråd (Emplectonema neesii)[3] är en djurart som tillhör fylumet slemmaskar, och som först beskrevs av Örsted 1843. Enligt Catalogue of Life[4][5] ingår Spateltråd i släktet Emplectonema, och familjen Emplectonematidae,[4][5] men enligt Dyntaxa[6] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Emplectonema, och ordningen Hoplonemertea.[6] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[6] Inga underarter finns listade.[4]
