Ubuntu (ùɓúntʼú | Zulu/Xhosa; uˈbʊntu) eller "uMunthu" (Chichewa) är en afrikansk etisk eller humanistisk filosofi som fokuserar på människors lojalitet och relation med varandra. Vissa anser att Ubuntu är en klassisk afrikansk filosofi eller världsåskådning[1] medan andra påpekar att idén att Ubuntu är en filosofi eller världsbild som har utvecklats i skriftliga källor på senare år.[2] Ordet har sitt ursprung i Bantuspråket från södra Afrika.
