Austrorossia australis[2][4][5] är en bläckfiskart som först beskrevs av Berry 1918. Austrorossia australis ingår i släktet Austrorossia och familjen Sepiolidae.[6][7] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[6]
