Rostbandad myrpitta[2] (Grallaricula ferrugineipectus) är en fågel i familjen myrpittor inom ordningen tättingar.[3]
Utbredning och systematik[redigera | redigera wikitext]
Rostbandad myrpitta delas in i tre distinkta underarter:[3]
- G. f. rara – förekommer i östra Anderna i Colombia och nordvästra Venezuela (Sierra de Perija)
- G. f. ferrugineipectus – förekommer i Santa Marta (nordöstra Colombia) och bergen i norra Venezuela
Tidigare behandlades leymebambamyrpittan (Grallaricula leymebambae) som en underart till rostbandad myrpitta och vissa gör det fortfarande.[4]

IUCN kategoriserar arten som livskraftig.[1]
