Hastings är administrativ huvudort i Barry County i Michigan. Orten har fått sitt namn efter markägaren Eurotas P. Hastings[1] som sålde markområdet dit orten grundades till Philo Dibble, Lansing Kingsbury och Cornelius Kendall år 1836.[2]
