Metcalfa pruinosa[5] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Thomas Say 1830. Metcalfa pruinosa ingår i släktet Metcalfa och familjen Flatidae.[6][7]
Artens utbredningsområde är Frankrike.[6] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten M. p. cubana.[6]
