Microcyclops rubellus[1][2] är en kräftdjursart som först beskrevs av Wilhelm Lilljeborg 1901. Microcyclops rubellus ingår i släktet Microcyclops och familjen Cyclopidae.[3][4][5] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[5] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[3]
