North Ayrshire är en av Skottlands kommuner. Kommunen gränsar till Renfrewshire, East Ayrshire och South Ayrshire. Centralort är Irvine. Från 1975 till 1996 var det ett distrikt som hette Cunninghame.[2][3]
North Ayrshire är vänort med Uddevalla.
