Pleuranthodium pedicellatum[1] är en enhjärtbladig växtart som först beskrevs av Theodoric Valeton, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Rosemary Margaret Smith. Pleuranthodium pedicellatum ingår i släktet Pleuranthodium och familjen Zingiberaceae.[2][3]
Artens utbredningsområde är Papua Nya Guinea.[2] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[2]
