Sepia papuensis[5][12][13][14] är en bläckfiskart som beskrevs av William Evans Hoyle 1885. Sepia papuensis ingår i släktet Sepia och familjen Sepiidae.[15][16] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[15]
