Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira Júnior, mer känd som Vinícius Júnior eller Vini Jr., född 12 juli 2000 i São Gonçalo, är en brasiliansk fotbollsspelare som spelar för Real Madrid i La Liga och det brasilianska landslaget.
Klubblagskarriär
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Vinícius Júnior började spela fotboll i Flamengos juniorlag. Han debuterade i A-laget 2017. Ett år senare köpte Real Madrid honom för cirka 38 miljoner euro. Han spelade några veckor för RM Castilla innan han gjorde sin debut för Madridklubben. Med Real Madrid har han bland annat vunnit tre La Liga-titlar och två UCL-titlar.
Landslagskarriär
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Vinícius Júnior debuterade för Brasiliens landslag den 10 september 2019 i en 1–0-förlust mot Peru, där han blev inbytt i den 74:e minuten mot Richarlison.[1][2]
I november 2022 blev Vinícius uttagen i Brasiliens trupp till VM 2022.[3] Han startade i Brasiliens inledande två gruppspelsmatcher och gjorde sitt första mästerskapsmål i åttondelsfinalen mot Sydkorea. I maj 2026 togs han ut i truppen till fotbolls-VM 2026.[4] I turneringen gjorde han mål i samtliga av Brasiliens gruppspelsmatcher.
