Xanthostigma xanthostigma[7] är en halssländeart som först beskrevs av Theodor Emil Schummel 1832. Xanthostigma xanthostigma ingår i släktet Xanthostigma och familjen ormhalssländor.[10][11][12] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[12] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[10]
