Magazine var en engelsk postpunk-grupp från Manchester, aktiv 1977-1981, startad av Howard Devoto efter att denne lämnat Buzzcocks. I originalupplagan ingick även John McGeoch (gitarr), Barry Adamson (basgitarr), Martin Jackson (trummor) och Bob Dickinson (keyboards). Bandet fick skivkontrakt med Virgin Records 1977 och debuterade 1978 med singeln "Shot By Both Sides" som fick bra kritik och gick in på brittiska singellistan. Dickinson hade då redan hoppat av bandet och ersattes av Dave Formula (keyboards). Magazine var ett av de första postpunkbanden som förenade punkens nerv och energi med artrock. Gruppen återförenades 2009 och splittrades åter 2011.
