Diagram of British Time and Percussion Fuze No. 83 Mk I, Land service.
Similar to No 81 except it is made of metal. The stirrup spring for the time pellet is stronger.
Time of burning at rest : 30 seconds.
Listed in 1915 for use with shrapnel shells for the following guns :-
