Titel
Toy lead tea cup
Beskrivning
English: Tiny lead toy cup with a milled rim, pedestal base, one handle and raised dots in decoration. The cup has been damaged by the plough, with a huge gash to one side. Its diameter is c.26mm and its height 17mm.
Geoff Egan comments: This is a toy from a series dating to the late C18th/C19th as far as can be established at this stage (there is a lack of these from closely dated contexts).
