Answer: In the beginning J:son was a middle name and comes from the family name Janson. Björns`s grandfather was called Karl August Janson. The family name Lindh comes from some distant relative of Björn`s grandfather. Björn`s father was born as Robert Lindh and at birth Björn was registered as Björn Lindh with the family name Lindh. Some members of the Lindh family started to call themselves J:son Lindh. After a while they applied to have the family name J:son Lindh registered. So J:son was in the beginning a middle name, but is now a part of the family name J:son Lindh. But some members of the Lindh family still uses the family name Lindh, not the family name J:son Lindh. In the USA Björn called himself Jayson Lindh. I hope this was at any help. All the best// Tapperheten (diskussion) 22 december 2014 kl. 22.44 (CET)
