Han har tidigare spelat för Turun Toverit i Mestis; Newfoundland Growlers i ECHL samt Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds i Ontario Hockey League (OHL).[3]
Hollowell draftades av Toronto Maple Leafs i fjärde rundan i 2018 års draft som 118:e spelare totalt.[3]
