Mall:Roterad text/dok

A shorthanded CSS code for rotating elements inside style attribute at -90 degrees. This template used with the style="" attribute, please do not add same codes. Functionality of this template very similar to template Transform-rotate, but this recommended to use for tables in song/musical contest articles as Eurovision Song Contest. Also, in Commons you can take files, that similar to this template.

First unnamed parameter {{{1}}} for text that can be rotated.

  • The named parameter |size= allows you to change the size of the text That should not exceed 118 pixels in height. The default is 14 pixels. Use only the numeric option (for example, 12).

When using this template to create the rotating effect, editors should consider carefully about the accessibility.

Mall:A note This template does not support IE8 or older. IE8 requires cumbersome calculating of matrices. You may implement it into this template if you know how to translate the formula into Lua.

Issues[redigera wikitext]

Currently only Internet Explorer 8 and above, and Webkit browsers (Chrome, Safari, Opera 15.0+, Android native browser) support rendering the text in top-to-bottom, left-to-right format. Other browsers will render the text as left-to-right, top-to-bottom. See also:

For users of Firefox version 38.0 and above, you need to open the about:config page, and set layout.css.vertical-text.enabled as true to enable it.
