Barentsia benedeni[2][3][4][5][6] är en bägardjursart som först beskrevs av Foettinger 1887. Barentsia benedeni ingår i släktet Barentsia och familjen Barentsiidae.[7][8][9] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[9] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
