Calophyllum pentapetalum[1] är en tvåhjärtbladig växtart som först beskrevs av Francisco Manuel Blanco, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Elmer Drew Merrill. Calophyllum pentapetalum ingår i släktet Calophyllum och familjen Calophyllaceae.[2][3]
