Cubocephalus thomsoni är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Heinrich Habermehl 1911.[1]
Cubocephalus thomsoni ingår i släktet Cubocephalus och familjen brokparasitsteklar.[2][3][4] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[4] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[2]
