Cuphea splendida[1] är en fackelblomsväxtart som beskrevs av A. Lourteig. Cuphea splendida ingår i släktet blossblommor, och familjen fackelblomsväxter.[2][3] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten C. s. viridiflava.[2]
