Cyathea rubiginosa[1] är en ormbunkeart som först beskrevs av Guido Georg Wilhelm Brause, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Karel Domin. Cyathea rubiginosa ingår i släktet Cyathea och familjen Cyatheaceae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade.[2]
