Hymenophyllum bivalve[1] är en hinnbräkenväxtart som först beskrevs av Georg Forster, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Olof Peter Swartz. Hymenophyllum bivalve ingår i släktet Hymenophyllum och familjen Hymenophyllaceae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade.[2]
