Escharella immersa[4][5][6][7] är en mossdjursart som först beskrevs av Fleming 1828. Escharella immersa ingår i släktet Escharella och familjen Romancheinidae.[8][9][10] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[8]
