Pachysomoides fulvus är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Ezra Townsend Cresson 1864.[3]
Pachysomoides fulvus ingår i släktet Pachysomoides och familjen brokparasitsteklar.[4][5] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[4]
