Polystichum acanthophyllum[1] är en träjonväxtart som först beskrevs av Adrien René Franchet, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Christ. Polystichum acanthophyllum ingår i släktet Polystichum och familjen Dryopteridaceae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade.[2]
