Sphaerostephanos hochreutineri[1] är en kärrbräkenväxtart som först beskrevs av Carl Frederik Albert Christensen, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Holtt. Sphaerostephanos hochreutineri ingår i släktet Sphaerostephanos och familjen Thelypteridaceae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade.[2]
