Sphaerostephanos mundus[1] är en kärrbräkenväxtart som först beskrevs av Eduard Rosenstock, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Holtt. Sphaerostephanos mundus ingår i släktet Sphaerostephanos och familjen Thelypteridaceae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade.[2]
