Tomentella lateritia [13]

Tomentella punicea är en svampart[14] som först beskrevs av Alb. & Schwein., och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Joseph Schröter 1888. Tomentella punicea ingår i släktet Tomentella och familjen Thelephoraceae.[15][16][17] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[17] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[15]
