Listfickmossa ingår i släktet fickmossor, och familjen Fissidentaceae.[55][56][57] Enligt den finländska rödlistan[58] är arten otillräckligt studerad i Finland. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[57] Artens livsmiljö är friska och torra lundar.[58] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[55]
