Röd ålgräsmask (Lineus ruber)[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] är en djurart som tillhör fylumet slemmaskar, och som först beskrevs av Cornelius Herman Muller 1774. Enligt Catalogue of Life[11][12] ingår Röd ålgräsmask i släktet Lineus och familjen Lineidae,[11][12] men enligt Dyntaxa[13] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Lineus, och ordningen Heteronemertea.[13] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[13] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
