Clathria armata[2] är en svampdjursart som först beskrevs av James Scott Bowerbank 1866. Clathria armata ingår i släktet Clathria och familjen Microcionidae.[8][9][10] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[8]
