Galathowenia fragilis[2][3][6][7][8][9][10] är en ringmaskart som först beskrevs av Birger Nilson och Holthe 1985. Galathowenia fragilis ingår i släktet Galathowenia och familjen Oweniidae.[11][12][13] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[13] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
