Taggormstjärna (Ophiothrix fragilis)[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] är en ormstjärneart som först beskrevs av Abildgaard 1789. Enligt Catalogue of Life[8][9] ingår Taggormstjärna i släktet Ophiothrix och familjen Ophiothrichidae, men enligt Dyntaxa[10] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Ophiothrix och familjen brokormstjärnor. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[8]
