Phytoscutus japonicus[1] är en spindeldjursart som beskrevs av Ehara och Noriaki Kishimoto 2007. Phytoscutus japonicus ingår i släktet Phytoscutus och familjen Phytoseiidae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[2]
