Poecillastra compressa^[2]^[3]^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15] är en svampdjursart som först beskrevs av James Scott Bowerbank 1866. Poecillastra compressa ingår i släktet Poecillastra och familjen Pachastrellidae.^[16]^[17] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten P. c. antarctica.^[16]
