Poecilochaetus tropicus[1][2] är en ringmaskart som beskrevs av Toru Okuda 1937. Poecilochaetus tropicus ingår i släktet Poecilochaetus och familjen Poecilochaetidae.[3][4] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[3]
