Pygospio elegans^[1]^[2]^[4]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17] är en ringmaskart som beskrevs av Claparede 1863. Pygospio elegans ingår i släktet Pygospio och familjen Spionidae.^[18]^[19]^[20] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.^[20] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.^[18]
