Sigmosceptrella fibrosa[4] är en svampdjursart som först beskrevs av Arthur Dendy 1897. Sigmosceptrella fibrosa ingår i släktet Sigmosceptrella och familjen Podospongiidae.[5][6]
Artens utbredningsområde är Sydaustralien.[5] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[5]
